Trantireks lab

Introduction

The Trantirek’s lab was established in autumn 2012. The lab is embedded into Structural Biology program of the Central European Institute of Technology - Masaryk University. In terms of research, the lab focuses on identification and characterization of regulatory elements and mechanisms within non-coding genome that have potential to serve as therapeutic targets in variety of human pathological conditions such as cancer or neurodegenerative and developmental diseases.

In terms of methodology, our investigations are heavily based on combination of (in-cell) NMR and CD spectroscopy, and advanced techniques of biochemistry and molecular biology. For more details on our research – see our research web page.
